The machine part of their mind grows with the growth of their soul from experience. Some will say this doesn't makes sense but I think that it kind of fits. This is why I gave them their bonus of a +1 to proficiency bonus. So the answer was the part of the warforged that does grow. How and when did the warforged get these? They didn't grow. I thought something like rocket launchers or jet engines would be cool but it wouldn't make sense. However I kept thinking of something thematic. The reason is because I know that people love the warforged. I tried to go something of a thematic theme. I tried to go with what is thematic for the most part. I will still argue despite what I have tried to give the artificer they are behind the power level of other classes. Also you can get a hold of legendary items eventually if your dm doesn't give it to you. You will never get to level 40 but I want +5 items dammit. Also finally I improved the infuse item so that it progressed. The subclasses of the actual class seemed weak so I made the epic level continuation weak in theme. Without going into some theory I had to give them a toned down list in theme and not the overpowered wizard spell list(notice simulacrum isn't there because it is completely broken). I added a spell list because I couldn't do what I did before. No one else can do this so I think that works out nicely.

Basically they have an ability to increase their attunement slots and the attunement slots of others. I heard from the developers in a video that attunement was one of the things you should be wary of. So what do they have a couple of abilities but their big thing is the crafting of items and attunement. They are a half caster so they will never compete in the realm of spells. Inversely in a campaign with no magic items you will be the mvp of the party. If you are in a campaign where the dm gives you tons of items your relative power deminishes as you get magic items stronger than what you can make. The power level of the artificer by its nature changes drastically. So what I attempted to do was just to keep it thematically the same while maintaining power level.

I have to be honest that I don't know the full lore. I had to shift stuff around according to what was different than the UA.Īlright so first is the artificer. Even though I finished it kind of quickly it has been on my mind for a while. I'm on dmsguild, drivethrurpg, and drivethrufiction. Maybe I will get a medal ranking(it is based on money purchases). This is the book I get all the traffic on so if you like this and the other work that I do I would really appreciate if you dropped some money there too. It allows for me to purchase the dnd books.

I'm not driving a new car or anything but it pays for the dnd content used to update this document. Basically it allows me to buy the books that I need to get information from to continue to update it.

I think wizards takes half so that is around 50 cents for me. If you feel like it you can give me like a dollar for the time I put into this and will continue to. Just so people don't get mad if I don't respond. To calculate the damage your character deals on a hit, you would roll the damage dice used for the weapon (shown on the chart) and add your strength/dexterity modifier.ATTENTION: I am turning off the notifications for comments. The number that results will contest the victim’s armor class score to see if they are hit. To calculate the attack bonus your character will have with a weapon, add together their strength/dexterity modifier + their proficiency bonus (if they are proficient with the weapon). Some weapons have the finesse property, allowing you to use your character’s strength or dexterity modifier for attacks and damage rolls. For ranged weapons like a longbow, you would use your character’s dexterity modifier. For most melee weapons, the ability modifier that will be used when attacking will be strength. On the page just before the weapons chart, the Player’s handbook details different weapon properties. Once you decide on your character’s weapons, it is important to fill in the attack bonus your character will be granted with the weapon, and the damage and type of damage their weapon will deal.
